Dr. George Stokes has been practicing at Ridgeville Animal Hospital for 35 years. A native of Lancaster, he now resides in Grafton, Ohio. Dr. Stokes completed his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University (OSU). He then pursued veterinary studies at OSU, earning his DVM degree in 1978. Prior to Ridgeville Animal Hospital, Dr. Stokes worked for a year at a dairy and small animal practice in Ashland. He has a special interest in extensive dental procedures and has been receiving veterinary dental referrals for over 25 years.
When not at the hospital, Dr. Stokes enjoys golf, OSU sports (particularly football and basketball, he's a season ticket holder), good food, and spending time with family, including his pets — a Shih Tzu named Sparky and a cat named Salem. He and his wife, who is a retired North Ridgeville City school teacher, often visit their two daughters and two grandchildren in Columbus.
